I retired in 2001 after a 25 year career working in the high technology industry. Retiring gave me the time to focus on investing, consulting and board activities. Today I sit on the board of directors, or consult to several public and private companies and venture capital funds. In the summer of 2008, I made the decision to form a new company focused on providing tools to enhance corporate and non-profit governance. After working in stealth mode for 8 months, BoardEvals, LLC was formally launched in early 2009.
My professional career includes senior level executive positions in both public and private companies. These include Quantum Corp. (EVP, Worldwide Sales & Marketing), Snap Appliances, Inc. (President & CEO), ShareWave, Inc. (President & CEO), Compaq Computer Corp. (VP & GM, North American Operations) and AST Research, Inc. (President & COO).
I have been a frequent participant at key industry events, and have been a speaker on numerous occasions including events such as The Churchill Club, Comdex, Demo, Digital Living Room and Technology Outlook.
I am currently a member of the Asia America Multi-Technology Association, the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Golden Capital Network. I am also a venture partner in the DFJ Frontier fund.
